Is the renewed Spin 713 worth it over a new one?

A new unit is $674.99 at Insight as of November 8, 2026. A renewed unit makes sense only if it costs clearly less and the seller guarantees battery health and return rights.

Does the touchscreen work with a stylus?

It supports USI styluses, which work for notes and sketching in Chrome OS apps. A stylus is not included.

How much battery life should I expect?

Acer rates it at 10 hours. Owners typically see less with the screen bright and many tabs open, and a renewed battery may hold less charge.

Can I connect an external monitor?

Yes. Use the HDMI port or a USB-C cable to a DisplayPort monitor; both output video without an adapter.

Is 128 GB enough storage?

For web apps and cloud files, yes. Local video, games and large Android apps will fill it quickly, so plan on cloud or SD storage.

When is the price lowest?

Chromebook prices drop around back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Track the price history before buying at $674.99.
