Is the Aceup Energy 4000W safe to use in California?

No. It is not CARB-compliant, so it cannot legally be sold or registered for use in California.

Can it run a refrigerator or a space heater?

A fridge is fine within the 4000W surge, but a 1500W space heater plus other loads will push a 3200W continuous unit close to its limit.

Does it have an electric start?

No. It is pull-cord start only.

How loud is it really?

The claimed rating is 55 dB, which is quiet for the class, but expect more noise under heavy load.

How long does it run on a tank?

About 5 hours, and run time drops as load increases.

Is $409.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. It is low for 3200W inverter output, but the missing safety listing is part of why.

What do buyers say about the Aceup Energy 4000W Peak Portable Inverter Gas Generator?
