Is 1600 rated watts enough to run a refrigerator?

Yes for most fridges, which draw 600 to 800 running watts and a short surge on startup. The 2000W surge covers that startup, but avoid running a fridge and other large loads at once.

How loud is it really?

Aurum Living rates it at 68 dB, roughly the level of a normal conversation or a window AC unit. Expect it to be audible but not disruptive at a campsite.

Does it have an electric start?

No. It is pull-start only, with oil and overload indicator lights to warn you before a problem.

Can it run sensitive electronics like a laptop or medical device?

Yes. The inverter produces pure sine wave output, which mimics utility power and is safe for laptops, TVs and medical devices within its wattage.

No written warranty is listed. That is a real risk at this price, so check the return window before buying.

Only one store lists it new, at $401.23 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026. With no competing listings, watch for seasonal sales rather than store-to-store price gaps.
