Is the PowerSmart 3600W an inverter generator?

The specs list it as not an inverter, so treat it as a conventional generator. That means power quality is not the clean sine wave an inverter gives, which matters for sensitive electronics.

How long does it run on a tank?

Up to 10 hours at a quarter load from a tank of about 1.3 to 1.53 gallons. At higher loads, expect a shorter run and plan to refuel.

Can it run a refrigerator?

Yes. Its 3200 running watts and 3600 surge watts cover a typical fridge plus lights and a fan. Check the startup watts on your appliance before relying on it.

Does it have electric start?

No. It is manual pull-start only, with no remote start or remote monitoring.

Is $359.49 a good price?

That is the best new price among the two stores selling it new as of November 5, 2026. For 3200 running watts, it is a low entry price.

What comes in the box?
