The Sierra Flame Freestand is a steel, three-sided electric fireplace that stands on its own and shows flames through glass on the front and both sides. It runs on a 5,000 BTU two-stage heater with a thermostat and a remote, and it is UL listed and hard-wire ready. At about 28 inches tall and 69 pounds, it works as a room divider or corner piece rather than a wall insert. The best new price is $1,299 at PortableFireplace.com as of November 5, 2026, and five stores carry it new.
