Questions and answers

Is the Allmar wall mount fireplace worth it at $148.74?
At $148.74 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a low entry price for a wall-mounted electric fireplace with 5,200 BTU and Energy Star rating. Whether it is worth it depends on how much you value the wall-mount look, since cheaper freestanding units exist.
How much space will 5,200 BTU heat?
Roughly 400 square feet in a well-insulated room, which covers a bedroom, office or small living room. It works best as supplemental heat rather than a whole-home source.
What circuit does the 1,500W heater need?
At 1,500W it pulls about 12.5 amps at 120V, so it should run on a dedicated 15A circuit. Do not share that outlet with other high-draw appliances.
Does it need venting or a gas line?
No. It is electric and mounts on the wall with no chimney, vent or gas connection, which is why it suits apartments and rentals.
When is the best time to buy it?
Fireplace prices tend to dip in spring and early summer, outside heating season. With only two stores listing it new, watch both listings rather than waiting for a broad sale.
Where is the Allmar Wall Mount Electric Fireplace cheapest?
At eBay, for $148.74, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Allmar Wall Mount Electric Fireplace?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Home Depot, eBay.
