Is the Fire TV Omni QLED worth it over a cheaper Fire TV?

Yes, if contrast matters to you. The QLED panel and local dimming produce noticeably deeper blacks and better HDR than Amazon's entry 4-Series, and the price gap is modest at this size.

Is 60Hz a problem for gaming?

For casual and cloud gaming, no. For fast shooters or console games at 120fps, yes: the panel tops out at 60Hz and lacks HDMI 2.1, so a gaming monitor or a 120Hz TV is a better fit.

Does it support Dolby Vision and HDR10+?

Yes. It handles Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG, and adjusts brightness to room lighting when those formats are present.

The TV, its stand legs, a voice remote with Alexa and the power cable. You supply the HDMI cables for consoles and streaming boxes.

Our take on the Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED Series 4K Smart TV

The Fire TV Omni QLED is Amazon's step-up 4K smart TV, with a quantum-dot panel, full-array local dimming and Dolby Vision IQ support. It runs the Fire TV interface with Alexa built in, so voice search and smart-home control work without a separate device. The 65-inch model is a 60Hz set, which suits movies and casual gaming more than fast competitive play. Its best new price is $749.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, with two stores listing it new.
