Is the Anker PowerExtend 6-Outlet worth it?

At $17.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a six-outlet strip with 900 J of surge protection and a 6 ft cord. It makes sense if you need outlets, not USB ports.

How many watts can it handle?

It is rated for 15 A at 125 V, or 1875 W total. That covers computers, TVs and small kitchen appliances, but not space heaters or other high-draw devices.

Does it have USB ports?

No. This model has six standard US outlets only, so phone and tablet charging needs a separate adapter.

How long is the cord?

The cord is 6 ft, which is longer than many basic strips and helps reach an outlet behind furniture.

What is the surge rating?

It absorbs up to 900 joules. That is adequate for typical home electronics but below the heavy-duty strips sold for whole-room protection.

Where is the Anker PowerExtend 6-Outlet cheapest?
