Is 790 joules enough surge protection?

It is fine for lamps, chargers and small appliances. It is low for expensive electronics like a desktop PC or TV, where 1,500 joules or more is a better match.

Does it have USB ports?

No. It has six AC outlets only, so phone charging needs a separate USB adapter.

Can I mount it on a wall?

It has keyhole slots on the back for hanging on screws. There is no wall plate or adhesive mount in the box.

Is it safe for a space heater?

The 15-amp breaker and 1875-watt rating cover most small heaters, but check the heater's wattage. Large heaters that draw near the limit are better on a wall outlet.
