Our take on the Ashland 7.5ft Pre-Lit Wimberley Pine Artificial Christmas Tree

The Ashland Wimberley Pine is a 7.5-foot pre-lit artificial Christmas tree with 600 warm white mini LED lights and a full 49-inch spread. Branches are hinged and pre-attached in three sections, and the foliage mixes hard PVC needles with pinecones for a fuller, more natural look. It is flame retardant and comes with a metal stand. The best new price is $229.98 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is limited.

Questions and answers

Is the Ashland Wimberley Pine worth $229.98?
At $229.98 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a 7.5-foot pre-lit LED tree with a full 49-inch spread. With only two stores listing it new, expect little discounting, so buy when you see it in stock.
How long does assembly take?
The tree comes in three sections with pre-attached hinged branches, so the frame goes up in minutes. Plan extra time to spread and shape the tips, which is what gives it the full look.
Are the lights replaceable or does it need a plug?
It uses 600 warm white mini LED lights wired into the tree, and the listing does not mention replaceable bulbs or a remote. You will need an outlet nearby; no battery option is stated.
How much floor space does it take up?
The base spread is 49 inches in diameter, so leave about four feet of clearance. It suits rooms with 8-foot or higher ceilings given the 7.5-foot height plus topper.
What is in the box?
The three tree sections, the pre-attached hinged branches with lights, and a premium metal stand. No tree bag, remote or extra bulbs are listed.
When is it cheapest?
Pre-lit trees usually see the deepest markdowns in late November and right after Christmas. With only two stores carrying it, watch both listings rather than waiting for a broad price war.
Where is the Ashland 7.5ft Pre-Lit Wimberley Pine Artificial Christmas Tree cheapest?
At Walmart, for $229.98, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Ashland 7.5ft Pre-Lit Wimberley Pine Artificial Christmas Tree?
