Our take on the Balsam Hill Bellevue Spruce Traditional Artificial Christmas Tree

The Bellevue Spruce is Balsam Hill's traditional artificial Christmas tree, pre-lit with white lights and shaped to a full, layered spruce silhouette. It is built for people who want a realistic-looking tree without the upkeep of a real one, and it goes up and comes down the same way every year. The best new price is $499 at Balsam Hill as of November 5, 2026, and it is the only store pricing it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against right now.

Best forHouseholds that want a pre-lit tree and skip stringing lightsBuyers who prefer a full, traditional spruce lookFamilies reusing one tree for many seasonsShoppers who want a single-brand tree with a known warranty
Pros
  • Pre-lit with white lights, so no separate light strings to buy
  • Traditional spruce shape suits classic ornament collections
  • Artificial build holds its shape year after year
  • Balsam Hill's tree line is known for dense, realistic branch tips
  • One clear price at one store makes the decision simple
Cons
  • $499 is a premium price for an artificial tree
  • Only one store sells it new, so there is no price competition
  • White lights are fixed; you cannot switch to colored without adding strands
  • Bulky to store off-season and heavy to move
  • No price history shown, so it is hard to judge whether $499 is a low point

Questions and answers

Is the Bellevue Spruce worth $499?
If you want a pre-lit tree that looks full and lasts many seasons, $499 is in line with premium artificial trees. If you only need a basic tree for a year or two, a cheaper mass-market option will do.
How does it compare with Balsam Hill's other spruces?
The Bellevue is the traditional, fuller spruce shape. Narrower or more natural-looking Balsam Hill trees suit tight rooms or sparse, woodland-style decorating.
Does it come with lights already attached?
Yes. It is pre-lit with white lights, so you plug it in and shape the branches rather than stringing lights yourself.
What sizes does it come in?
Balsam Hill sells the Bellevue Spruce in several heights. Check the listing for the height you want, since light count and price change with size.
When is the best time to buy it?
Artificial trees usually discount most in late November and again right after Christmas. The current best new price is $499 at Balsam Hill as of November 5, 2026.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is designed for indoor use. If you place it on a covered porch, keep it out of direct rain and weather.
Where is the Balsam Hill Bellevue Spruce Traditional Artificial Christmas Tree cheapest?
At Balsam Hill, for $499.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Balsam Hill Bellevue Spruce Traditional Artificial Christmas Tree?
Rated 4.5 out of 5 from 425 ratings.
