Our take on the Northlight 6 ft. Pre-Lit Brown Pre-Decorated Pop-Up Artificial Christmas Tree

The Northlight 6 ft. Pre-Lit Pop-Up Artificial Christmas Tree is a brown tinsel tree that springs open and is already strung with 60 clear lights and decorations. It is 6 feet tall but only 13 inches wide, so it fits in a corner, hallway or small apartment where a full tree will not. The fabric is wrinkle resistant and the lights are UL-certified plug-in. At $49.99 at Michaels Stores as of November 5, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track.

Questions and answers

Is the Northlight pop-up tree worth it?
For a quick, slim accent tree, yes. At $49.99 at Michaels Stores as of November 5, 2026, it costs less than most pre-lit trees and needs no assembly. Do not expect the fullness of a traditional tree.
How does it compare with a standard artificial tree?
It sets up and comes down in seconds and takes up little floor space. A standard tree looks fuller and more realistic but needs branch shaping and storage space.
Does it come with lights and decorations?
Yes. It arrives pre-lit with 60 clear plug-in lights and pre-decorated, so you only need to plug it in.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. Northlight recommends indoor use, and the plug-in lights and fabric are not made for outdoor weather.
How tall and wide is it?
It is 6 feet tall and 13 inches wide, so it suits corners and narrow hallways.
When is the best time to buy it?
