Questions and answers

Is the Ashley Caitbrook stool worth it at $69?
At $69 at Affordable Furniture Source as of November 3, 2026, it is a solid value for a swivel stool with a solid acacia frame. It is a good buy if you want a backless counter stool and do not need height adjustment.
What counter height does this stool fit?
It is about 24.4 inches tall, which suits counters around 36 inches. Measure your counter before ordering, since the height is fixed.
Does the seat swivel?
Yes. The seat swivels a full 360 degrees, which makes it easier to get on and off at a counter.
Does it have a backrest?
No. The Caitbrook is backless, so it offers no back support. That keeps it out of the way under a counter but makes it less suited to long sitting.
What is the weight limit?
The stool is rated for up to 250 lb. That is fine for most adults but lower than some bar stools rated at 300 lb or more.
When is the best time to buy it?
The current $69 is already at the low end of its recent range. Watch for holiday furniture sales, when it may dip further.
Where is the Ashley Caitbrook Upholstered Stool cheapest?
At Affordable Furniture Source, for $69.00, 33% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Ashley Caitbrook Upholstered Stool?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 579 ratings.
