Is the Ashley 6-inch mattress good for side sleepers?

It is not the best match. The firm 6-inch foam gives little give at the shoulders and hips, so most side sleepers will want a thicker, softer mattress.

How long does it take to expand?

Ashley says about 48 hours for full expansion after unboxing. It is usable sooner, but it reaches full height over that period.

Does it work with an adjustable base?

Yes. The mattress is listed as compatible with adjustable bases.

Is $214 a good price?

It is the best new price among the two stores listing it new as of November 4, 2026. For a firm twin foam mattress, that is a budget-level price.

What size and height is it?
