Is the Atari 2600+ worth it?

If you already own 2600 or 7800 cartridges and want to play them on an HDMI TV, it is the simplest option. If you have no cartridges, the 10-in-1 pack covers the essentials but you will want more.

Does it play original Atari 2600 and 7800 cartridges?

Yes. It accepts both cartridge types, and the enlarged socket is designed to reduce sticking. Compatibility is with most, not all, cartridges.
