Our take on the Bolton Tools Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine with 12" Seal Bar & Oil Pump

The Bolton Tools chamber vacuum sealer is a countertop commercial machine with a 12-inch single seal bar and an oil-based vacuum pump rated at 10 cbm/h. Chamber design means it can pull a hard vacuum on liquids and wet foods that edge-sealers struggle with, and the 5-second, 8mm-wide seal suits steady production. It runs on 110V and draws 12 amps, so it needs a dedicated circuit. At $546.99 at Toolots as of November 4, 2026, it is an entry-level price for an oil-pump chamber machine; only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is thin.

Best forSmall food businesses packing liquids, sauces and marinadesHunters and butchers sealing wet or frozen meatHome cooks who want chamber-grade vacuum on a budgetBuyers who want an oil pump rather than a dry piston pump
Pros
  • Chamber design handles liquids and wet foods without pulling them into the seal
  • Oil pump rated at 10 cbm/h for sustained duty
  • 5-second seal cycle with an 8mm seal width
  • Simple digital controls and a built-in pressure gauge
  • 12-inch seal bar fits standard chamber pouches
  • 110V, 900W power works on a normal US outlet
Cons
  • 99 lb shipping weight makes it awkward to move and store
  • Single seal bar only, no double seal or cut-off bar
  • 12-inch bar limits bag size; large cuts need a bigger chamber
  • 12 amps needs a dedicated circuit, not a shared kitchen line
  • Few retailers stock it, so price and support options are limited

Questions and answers

Is a chamber vacuum sealer worth it over a regular edge sealer?
If you pack sauces, marinades, soups or wet meat, yes. A chamber machine pulls vacuum around the whole bag, so liquid stays put instead of being sucked toward the seal. For dry goods only, a cheaper edge sealer does the job.
What bags does it take?
It uses chamber-style pouches in polyethylene or nylon, up to 12 inches wide to match the seal bar. Standard embossed vacuum-roll bags are not the right fit for a chamber machine.
How much counter space does it need?
The machine measures about 20 by 16-1/8 by 15-3/4 inches. Leave clearance to open the lid and room for the 99 lb shipping weight, so a sturdy counter is best.
Does it need a special outlet?
It draws 12 amps at 110V, so a dedicated 15-amp circuit is safer than sharing a line with other kitchen equipment. Check your breaker before running it alongside a fridge or fryer.
When is the price lowest?
Only two stores list it new, and the best price seen is $546.99 at Toolots as of November 4, 2026. With so few sellers, watch both listings rather than waiting for a seasonal sale.
What comes in the box?
The machine, the oil pump and the 12-inch single seal bar. Bags are sold separately.
Where is the Bolton Tools Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine with 12" Seal Bar & Oil Pump cheapest?
