Our take on the COB LED Strip Light White CCT 608LED/m Ultra Bright 2700K-6500K 24V with RF Controller and Power Supply

A 9.8 ft chip-on-board LED strip that runs on 24V and tunes from warm 2700K to cool 6500K, sold with an RF remote controller and power supply. The 608 LEDs per meter give a continuous, dot-free line of light rather than the visible beads of standard strips. It is rated for outdoor use, though the power source is listed as battery powered, so check how it is meant to be wired. No current price was provided, so compare store prices before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this strip actually battery powered?
The listing says battery powered, but the kit ships with a 24V power supply and RF controller. Treat it as a 24V mains-powered strip and confirm the wiring with the seller before buying.
Can I cut it to length?
COB strips can be cut only at marked cut points, and the cut spacing is usually shorter than on standard strips. Cutting elsewhere kills that section.
How bright is 608 LEDs per meter?
It is among the denser COB options, so expect a bright, even line rather than distinct dots. Actual brightness depends on the wattage of the included supply.
Does the remote need line of sight?
No. RF remotes work through walls and cabinet doors, unlike infrared remotes. Pairing and channel setup vary by controller.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is rated for outdoor use, but the controller and power supply still need a dry, sheltered spot. Seal any exposed strip ends.
When is it cheapest?
LED strip kits usually drop during holiday sales and clearance events. Check the price history on this page before buying.
