Our take on the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights Outdoor 8 LED Disk Light

The Daybetter 12-pack is a set of flat, disk-shaped solar path lights that stake into the ground and run on a built-in panel and battery, with no wiring. Each light uses 8 LEDs at 6500 K cool white and is rated 200 lumens and 5 watts, roughly a 20 W incandescent equivalent. The 12-pack at $23.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 works out to about $2 per light, which is at the low end of what multi-packs of this type cost. It suits marking a walkway or garden bed cheaply rather than lighting a large area.

Pros
  • About $2 per light in the 12-pack
  • No wiring: solar panel and battery built in
  • Flat disk shape sits low and is easy to stake
  • 8 LEDs per unit at 200 lumens
  • 6500 K cool white reads crisp against plants
Cons
  • 200 lumens per light is dim for real illumination
  • Cool 6500 K light looks clinical in a garden
  • Output depends on sun; weak on shaded paths or in winter
  • Built-in batteries and panels are not user-replaceable on most units like this
  • Plastic build and stakes can crack in hard soil

Questions and answers

Is the Daybetter 12-pack worth it?
At $23.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is about $2 per light, which is cheap for path marking. Expect decorative glow, not bright security lighting.
How bright are these lights?
Each is rated 200 lumens at 6500 K cool white. That is enough to outline a path but not to light a patio or read by.
Do they need direct sun?
Yes. The panel charges only in daylight, so shaded paths and short winter days cut run time. Place them where the panel gets several hours of direct sun.
How long do they run on a charge?
Most lights of this type run several hours after a full charge, dimming as the battery drains. Expect shorter nights in cloudy weather or after a year of battery wear.
What comes in the box?
Twelve disk lights with stakes and built-in solar panels and batteries. No wiring, transformer or tools are needed beyond pushing the stakes into soil.
When is the price lowest?
Multi-packs like this often drop around spring gardening season and again in late fall clearance. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.
Where is the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights Outdoor 8 LED Disk Light cheapest?
At Walmart, for $23.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Daybetter 12 Pack Solar Ground Lights Outdoor 8 LED Disk Light?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 447 ratings.
