Is the Donner DLP-124B good for a beginner?

Yes. The dual humbuckers are forgiving and quiet, and the price is low enough to start on. Expect to have the action and intonation checked by a shop or set up yourself.

How does it compare with a real Les Paul?

It copies the single-cut shape and humbucker layout but uses budget woods, pickups and hardware. It gets close in look and general tone, not in build quality or resale value.

What is the difference between the DLP-124B and DLP-124S?

Only the finish. The B is black and the S is sunburst; the body, pickups and hardware are the same.

Does it come with a case or amp?

Donner typically sells this as a guitar only. Check the listing for what is included before buying, since bundles vary by seller.
