Questions and answers

Is the Drolet Deco II worth it?
At $1,429 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a blower-equipped stove of this size. The 4.6 out of 5 rating from 105 ratings supports it. Compare against local dealer prices, since only one new listing is tracked.
How does it compare with a catalytic stove?
The Deco II is non-catalytic, so it is simpler and cheaper to maintain but generally has shorter burn times. Catalytic stoves cost more up front and need a replacement combustor every few years.
What size space will it heat?
With a 1.9 cu ft firebox and 78% efficiency, expect it to suit a mid-size room or open area rather than a whole large house. Actual coverage depends on insulation, layout and climate.
Does it come with the blower?
Yes. This listing is the DB03205 with blower kit, so the blower is included rather than sold separately.
What log length fits?
The firebox takes standard 16-inch firewood. Longer splits will need cutting down.
When is the price lowest?
Wood stoves usually discount in spring and early summer, outside heating season. The current best is $1,429 at eBay as of November 4, 2026.
