Are these strings good for slap and fingerstyle?

Yes. The roundwound nickel wrap gives a bright, snappy attack that suits slap, and the smoother nickel surface is comfortable for fingerstyle.

How do nickel strings compare with stainless steel?

Nickel-plated steel sounds warmer and feels smoother. Stainless steel is brighter and lasts longer but can feel rougher and harsher.

What gauge is this set?

It is a medium gauge set, so expect firmer tension than light gauge strings.

Will they fit my 4-string bass?

They are standard long-scale electric bass strings and fit most 4-string basses. Check your scale length before buying.

How often should I change them?

With regular gigging, most players change bass strings every one to three months. Brightness fades first.

When is the best time to buy?
