Questions and answers

Is the Electrolux Ultimate500 Pet worth it at $149?
At $149.00 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable buy for a HEPA upright with a pet tool. Compare against bagged uprights if you want a larger bin.
Does it work on hard floors?
Yes. It is an upright with a brush roll, so it handles both carpet and hard floor, though the brush can scatter debris on bare floors.
What comes in the box?
The vacuum, a pet upholstery tool, and a crevice or dusting brush. Check the listing for the exact tool set.
How often do I change the filter?
Wash or replace the HEPA filter every few months with normal use, sooner with heavy pet hair. A clogged filter cuts suction.
Is it good for stairs?
The pet tool and hose help, but the 14 lb body has to be carried. A canister or stick vacuum is easier on stairs.
Where is the Electrolux Ultimate500 Pet Upright Vacuum EHVS55P5AD cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $149.00, 21% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Electrolux Ultimate500 Pet Upright Vacuum EHVS55P5AD?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 26 ratings.
Where can I buy the Electrolux Ultimate500 Pet Upright Vacuum EHVS55P5AD?
13 stores we checked sell it, including Wayfair, Sylvane.com, Queen City Homestore, Walmart, BrandsMart USA.
