Questions and answers

Is the EliteField 42-inch crate good for a large dog?
It is sized for large breeds and works for calm dogs that settle in a crate. It is soft-sided, so it is not suited to dogs that chew or push hard against the walls.
Does it need tools to assemble?
No. The frame pops open and folds flat by hand, and no tools are included or needed.
Can I use it in a car?
It folds flat and is light enough to move, but it is not crash-tested. Use a purpose-built car harness or crate for travel safety.
Is it chew-proof?
No. The sides are fabric mesh, and owners report chewers getting through the zippers and mesh. Use a metal crate for dogs that chew.
Is $59.99 a good price?
$59.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 is the best new price among the two stores listing it. Soft crates this size often sell for more, so it is a low entry price.
What comes in the box?
The crate arrives folded with its frame and mesh panels attached. No tools or mat are included.
