Questions and answers

What size dog fits a 42-inch crate?
It suits dogs roughly 50 to 90 pounds, such as Labs, boxers and German shepherds. Measure your dog's height and length against the 28-inch height and 42-inch length.
Does it come with a divider?
No divider is listed. Puppies that are still growing may need a smaller crate or a divider bought separately.
Is the tray leakproof?
The tray is described as leakproof, so spills and accidents stay off the floor. It sits under the wire floor and pulls out for cleaning.
Can it be used for travel?
It folds flat, which makes it easy to move between rooms or load into a car. It is not a crash-tested travel crate.
Is $48.99 a good price?
At $48.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range. Two stores list it new, so compare before buying.
