Yes. COB strips pack the diodes tightly under a phosphor layer, so the light reads as one continuous line. Standard SMD strips show individual bright spots, especially up close.
What else do I need to run it?
A 24V DC power supply rated for the strip's full wattage, a CCT controller or two-channel dimmer, and usually an aluminum channel. None of these come in the box.
Can I cut it to length?
