Our take on the Fed Fitness 15LB to 55LB Adjustable Dumbbell Set Pair

The Fed Fitness Adjustable Dumbbell Set is a pair of dial-style dumbbells that adjust from 15 lb to 55 lb per hand using metal plates. Each dumbbell replaces roughly a dozen fixed pairs, which saves floor space in a home gym. The best new price is $319.99 for the pair at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, and only one store currently lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.

Best forHome lifters who want one pair instead of a rackSmall spaces and apartmentsBeginners through intermediate liftersPeople who train alone and change weight often
Pros
  • Covers 15 to 55 lb per hand in one pair
  • Metal plates feel closer to fixed dumbbells than plastic
  • Dial adjustment is faster than loading spin collars
  • Replaces a full rack of fixed dumbbells
  • Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 47 ratings
Cons
  • $319.99 for the pair is a real outlay up front
  • 55 lb per hand caps out for stronger lifters
  • Longer than fixed dumbbells at low weights, which can crowd some lifts
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin
  • Dial mechanisms need care; dropping them can damage the selector

Questions and answers

Is the Fed Fitness set worth $319.99?
At $319.99 for the pair at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than buying a dozen fixed pairs. It is worth it if 55 lb per hand covers your lifts and you value the space saved.
How does it compare with Bowflex or PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells?
All three use a selector instead of loose plates. This set tops out at 55 lb per hand, below the larger Bowflex and PowerBlock models, so check your heaviest press and row before choosing.
How fast can I change the weight?
Turn the dial to the weight you want and lift the handle out of the cradle. Changes take a few seconds per dumbbell, much faster than loading plates.
What comes in the box?
You get two dumbbells and their storage cradles, which hold the plates you are not using. Check the listing for the exact plate count before ordering.
Can I drop these dumbbells?
No. The selector mechanism and metal plates are not built for drops, so set them down on the cradles after each set.
When is the price lowest?
Only one store lists it new at $319.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is little discounting to track. Watch for holiday sales at Macy's.
