Is the Fender American Professional II Telecaster Deluxe worth the price?

For players who want a US-made Telecaster with humbuckers and coil-splitting, it offers pro-level features and a hardshell case. Its $1,689.99 price at Crutchfield as of November 4, 2026 is typical for the American Professional II line.

How does it compare to the previous American Professional Telecaster Deluxe?

The II version adds V-Mod II Double Tap pickups with push/push coil-splitting, rolled fretboard edges and a contoured belly cut. These changes improve comfort and tonal flexibility over the original.

Can the humbuckers be split for single-coil tones?

Yes, the tone controls are push/push switches that split each humbucker for single-coil operation. This gives you brighter, more traditional Telecaster sounds.

What is included in the box?

The guitar comes with a deluxe molded case, two case keys, and two Allen wrenches for truss rod and saddle adjustments.

Is a left-handed version available?

Listings indicate only right-handed models are offered. Left-handed players would need to look for other models or custom options.
