Is a top entry box good for senior cats?

Usually not. Older cats and cats with arthritis may struggle to jump in and out. A low-entry box is kinder for them.

Will it work for a large Maine Coon?

The 23.65 x 15.75 inch base gives a big cat room to turn, but the 15.3 inch height and top opening may feel tight for the largest cats. Measure your cat first.

Does the stainless steel pan come out for cleaning?

The pan and plastic shell are separate pieces, so you can lift the top off to scoop and wash the pan. Check the listing photos for how the lid attaches before buying.

Is $44.19 a good price?

With only two stores listing it new, there is little price history to compare. $44.19 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 is the lowest new price found, but watch for shipping cost added at checkout.

Our take on the FZGhome Stainless Steel XL Top Entry Box

The FZGhome XL Top Entry Box is a hooded litter box with a stainless steel pan and a beige plastic top shell. Cats enter through an opening in the lid, which keeps dogs out and cuts down on tracked litter. At 23.65 x 15.75 x 15.3 inches it is sized for large cats. The best new price is $44.19 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is limited.
