Is a top entry litter box worth it?

Yes if tracking is your main problem and your cat is willing to jump in. It cuts litter on the floor and costs little at $25.95 at eBay as of November 5, 2026.

Will my cat use a top entry box?

Most healthy adult cats adapt within a few days. Kittens, senior cats and cats with joint problems may struggle with the jump, and some cats simply refuse.

How big is the inside?

The interior is 17 by 11.5 inches and the entry hole is 9.25 inches across. That suits small to medium cats; large cats may find it cramped.

What comes in the box?

One litter box and one matching scoop. The lid is removable for cleaning.

How often should I clean it?

Scoop daily and do a full wash with the lid off every week or two. The enclosed design holds odors, so regular cleaning matters more than with an open pan.

It has sold near $26 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, the low end of its recent range. Prices vary across the 9 stores that carry it.
