Is the Greenworks 40V blower/vacuum worth it?

It is worth it if you want one cordless tool for blowing and bagging leaves and already own or plan to buy Greenworks 40V batteries. If you only blow leaves off hard surfaces, a blower-only model costs less and weighs less.

How long does the battery last?

The included 5.0 Ah 40V battery runs about 30 minutes, less on turbo. A full recharge takes about 150 minutes, so a spare battery helps on big fall cleanup days.

Does it really mulch leaves?

Yes. It mulches at a 12:1 ratio, so roughly 12 bags of leaves become about one bag of mulch. It works best on dry leaves; wet leaves clog the vacuum.

How does it compare with a gas blower?

It is quieter at 69 dB, needs no gas or oil, and starts instantly. A gas backpack blower still moves more air and runs longer, so it suits large properties better.

What comes in the box?

The kit includes the blower/vacuum unit, a 5.0 Ah 40V lithium-ion battery, the vacuum kit and collection bag. Check the listing for whether a charger is included.

Leaf blowers usually drop in price in late fall clearance and around spring yard-care sales. The best new price was $214.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026.
