Is the Greenworks 60V CrossoverT worth $2,499.99?

If you mow close to an acre or more and want to skip gas, oil and engine service, the price buys a 42-inch all-wheel-drive rider with a 3-hour charge. On a small, flat lawn a cheaper push or smaller riding mower will do the same job.

How long does the battery last per charge?

Greenworks rates it for up to 1.5 acres per charge. Expect less in tall, wet grass or on slopes, since the mower draws more power under load.

How does it compare with a 24 HP gas riding mower?

Greenworks claims power equivalent to a 24 HP gas engine, and the 42-inch deck matches mid-size gas tractors. The real differences are quiet operation and no fuel or oil versus limited run time and a high upfront price.

Can it handle hills and wet grass?

It is rated for slopes up to 15 degrees with all-wheel drive. Wet, thick grass cuts into run time and can leave a less even cut, so mow dry when you can.

What comes in the box?

The mower, its 60V batteries and the 600W wall charger. Check the listing for the exact battery count and amp-hour rating before you buy.

When is the best time to buy it?

Mower prices usually dip in late summer and fall as the season winds down. The current best new price is $2,499.99 at Greenworks as of November 4, 2026.
