Is the HJC F71 Carbon worth the price?

At $289.48 at FC-Moto as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a carbon-shell helmet with ECE certification and Bluetooth pockets. If you do not need carbon, the standard F71 costs less.

Does it come with a Pinlock insert?

The visor is Pinlock-ready, but the anti-fog insert is usually sold separately. Budget for one if you ride in rain or cold.

Can I fit a Bluetooth intercom?

Yes. The helmet has speaker pockets and a Bluetooth-ready interior, so most intercoms such as Cardo or Sena units install without cutting foam.

How does it compare to the standard HJC F71?

The F71 Carbon swaps the polycarbonate shell for carbon fiber, which cuts weight. The visor, sun shield and fit are otherwise similar.

What sizes does it come in?

HJC offers the F71 Carbon in a range of adult sizes, typically XS through XXL. Check the size chart, since the fit runs slightly narrow.
