Our take on the IRIS Premium Square Top Entry Cat Litter Box with Scoop

The IRIS Premium Square Top Entry Litter Box is a covered plastic box that cats enter from the top, with grooved lid channels meant to knock litter off paws before they step out. It measures 17.25 inches square and 14.88 inches tall, with a 7.9-inch entry opening, and ships with a scoop. The best new price is $22.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, which is low for a covered top-entry box; most comparable boxes sell for more.

Questions and answers

Is the IRIS top entry box worth it?
At $22.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a low-cost way to cut litter tracking. It is worth it if your cat will jump in from the top; skip it if your cat is old or hesitant to climb.
Will my cat use a top entry box?
Most healthy adult cats adapt within a week or two. Kittens, seniors and cats with arthritis may struggle with the jump, so keep a low-entry pan available during the switch.
How big is it, and does it fit a large cat?
It is 17.25 inches square and 14.88 inches tall, with a 7.9-inch top opening. That suits most large cats, but very long cats may find the turning space tight.
Does it control odor?
Only partly. The lid traps some smell, but there is no door or carbon filter, so scoop daily and wash the box with warm water and mild soap regularly.
What comes in the box?
One litter box with lid and one scoop. Litter and liners are not included; it uses regular garbage bags for waste.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price seen is $22.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with 6 stores selling it new. Covered boxes rarely discount deeply, so compare the six stores before buying.
Where is the IRIS Premium Square Top Entry Cat Litter Box with Scoop cheapest?

What do buyers say about the IRIS Premium Square Top Entry Cat Litter Box with Scoop?
