Is the IULULU 6-inch mattress worth it?

For a child's bed, bunk bed or guest room, yes: at $104.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 it costs little and handles occasional use well. For a heavy adult sleeping on it nightly, spend more on a thicker mattress.

It is rated medium. The 1.5-inch gel memory foam softens the surface, but the 4.5-inch base is dense, so most sleepers feel a balanced, slightly firm support.

Does it work on a bunk bed or trundle?

Yes. At 6 inches thick and 75 x 38 inches in Twin, it fits standard bunk and trundle frames. It is not designed for adjustable bases or sleeper sofas.

How long until it fully expands?

Foam usually reaches full height within 24 to 72 hours after unboxing. Sleep on it sooner if needed, but give it a day or two to air out the new-foam smell.

Is the cover machine washable?

Yes. The zippered cover can be removed and washed; the foam core itself should only be spot cleaned.

When is the price lowest?

Budget mattresses like this tend to dip during major sales events and back-to-school season. The current $104.99 at Amazon is already near the bottom of its recent range.
