Our take on the Joystone 1:14 Brushless Fast RC Car 4WD Monster Truck with 3S LiPo Battery

The Joystone 1:14 is a brushless 4WD monster truck with a 3S LiPo battery, sized at about 9.4 x 5.5 x 4 inches. Brushless motors and 3S power put it in the fast hobby-grade class rather than the toy aisle, and it is rated for ages 14 and up. Its only new price is $159.89 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, with no other new listings to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Joystone 1:14 worth $159.89?
That is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Brushless 4WD trucks with a 3S battery often cost around this, so it is fair if you want those features without upgrading a cheaper truck.
How fast is it?
Joystone does not publish a top speed here. A brushless motor on 3S in a 1:14 truck typically runs well above toy-car speeds, fast enough for dirt lots and short grass.
What battery does it use?
It ships with a 3S LiPo battery. Check whether a charger is included before buying, and charge and store the LiPo safely.
Is it good for a beginner?
It is rated for ages 14 and up and 3S brushless power is quick, so it suits a first hobby-grade truck more than a young child. Expect to learn throttle control and LiPo care.
How does it compare with a 1:10 truck?
It is smaller and cheaper to run, but 1:10 trucks handle rougher ground and have more parts support. Pick 1:14 for tight spaces and easy transport.
When is it cheapest?
There is only one new listing, so there is no price history to time a drop. Watch for holiday sales at Walmart.
Where is the Joystone 1:14 Brushless Fast RC Car 4WD Monster Truck with 3S LiPo Battery cheapest?
At Walmart, for $159.89, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Joystone 1:14 Brushless Fast RC Car 4WD Monster Truck with 3S LiPo Battery?
Rated 3.6 out of 5 from 24 ratings.
