Our take on the Ktaxon Panini Press Grill, 1800W Stainless Steel Electric Sandwich Maker

The Ktaxon Panini Press Grill is a 1800W stainless steel contact grill for pressed sandwiches, paninis and quick searing. It is a large, heavy-duty unit at about 12 by 12 inches and 8 inches tall, so it takes real counter space. At $99.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. It lacks an NRTL safety listing, which matters for a 1800W appliance.

Pros
  • 1800W heats fast and holds heat for searing

Cons
  • No NRTL safety listing, a concern at 1800W
  • Large footprint for a countertop appliance
  • No listed temperature control or timer details
  • Only one store prices it new, so no price history to judge
  • Brand support and warranty details are hard to verify

Questions and answers

Is the Ktaxon Panini Press Grill worth $99.99?
At $99.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is cheap for an 1800W stainless contact grill. The missing NRTL listing is the main reason to hesitate before buying.
Does it have a safety certification?
The listing states no NRTL listing. That means it has not been shown to meet UL or ETL safety standards, which is unusual for a 1800W appliance.
How big is it on the counter?
It measures about 12 by 12 inches and stands 8 inches tall. Plan for a dedicated spot or storage space, since it is larger than most sandwich presses.
What can I cook on it besides paninis?
The flat contact plates suit burgers, chicken breasts, vegetables and quesadillas. High wattage helps with searing, but there is no listed temperature dial, so you control heat by timing.
Is it cheaper anywhere else?
Walmart is the only store pricing it new at $99.99 as of November 4, 2026. With one seller there is no recent low or high to compare, so watch for a drop rather than expect one.
Where is the Ktaxon Panini Press Grill, 1800W Stainless Steel Electric Sandwich Maker cheapest?
At Walmart, for $99.99, as of our latest check.
