Our take on the Ktaxon 39 Inch Electric Guitar with HH Pickup

The Ktaxon 39-inch is a solid-body, 6-string electric guitar with two humbuckers (HH) and a tremolo bridge, sold as a starter bundle. It ships with a gig bag, capo, tremolo arm and cable, so a beginner can plug in and play without buying extras. At $59.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the bottom of its price range — the cheapest of the three stores listing it new. That price is typical for no-name starter guitars, so expect beginner-grade hardware rather than a step-up instrument.

Pros

Two humbuckers give a fuller, louder rock tone than single coils
Bundle includes gig bag, capo, tremolo arm and cable
39-inch full-scale size suits adults and older teens
Solid body and tremolo bridge cover the basics
$59.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest of three new listings

Cons

Budget build: tuners, nut and fretwork are usually the weak points
No amp included, so it is not truly play-out-of-the-box
Setup out of the box is often rough; expect to adjust action and intonation
Humbuckers on cheap guitars can sound muddy
Little resale value and no brand support network
