Is the Lasko 754200 worth it?

For a small room or desk, yes. It costs $34.57 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026 and does the basics well. If you need oscillation, a timer or a tip-over switch, spend more on another model.

How much area does it heat?

Lasko lists it for spaces up to 175 square feet, though one spec sheet says 300. Treat it as a personal or small-room heater, not a whole-room solution.

Does it have a tip-over switch?

No. It has overheat protection and a cool-touch exterior, but no tip-over shutoff. Keep it on a stable surface away from pets and cords.

Can I use it on a tabletop?

Yes. At 9.2 inches tall and 6 inches deep, it fits on a desk or table, and the handle makes it easy to move. Keep clearance around the front and top.

The heater comes fully assembled with a 6-foot cord. No remote, timer or extra parts are included.

Space heaters usually drop in late fall and around Black Friday. At $34.57 it is already near the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may save little.
