The Lasko Personal Heater is a small ceramic forced-air heater meant to warm one person, not a room. It runs on just 200 watts, so it puts out about 682 BTUs and can run on a desk, nightstand or low-draw circuit without tripping a breaker. It has a thermostat, overheat protection and automatic shut-off, and it stands 6 inches tall on a 4-by-4-inch footprint. At $29.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the 7 stores that carry it new.

With 4.4 out of 5 from 104 ratings, owners mostly treat it as a desk warmer that does a small job well. Complaints center on its limited reach and fan sound.
