Is the Laundreez worth it?

It makes sense if you regularly hand-wash small loads away from a machine, such as camping or dorm life. For a household with a washer, it adds little.

How much clothing fits in 6 liters?

Roughly a couple of T-shirts, socks and underwear, or one small delicate item. Overloading it stops the agitation from working.

Does it clean as well as a washing machine?

No. It loosens light soil with detergent and agitation, but heavy stains and grease need pretreating or a real machine.

Can I use it for delicate fabrics?

Yes. The bag is aimed at delicates, and hand kneading is gentler than a drum. Avoid hot water and harsh bleach.

What is included with the bag?

The washer bag itself with its screw cap. Water, detergent and drying space are up to you.

When is the price lowest?

Outdoor and travel gear tends to discount before summer camping season and around holiday sales. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Laundreez Portable Clothes Washer

The Laundreez is a 6-liter transparent polyester bag that works as a hand-powered washing machine: fill it, add water and detergent, seal the patented screw cap, and knead or roll it to clean clothes. It weighs 340 g and packs flat, so it suits dorms, camping and travel where no washer is available. It is a manual tool, not an electric appliance, and handles only small loads of delicate or lightly soiled items.
