Question 1

Is $1,400 a good price for this LG refrigerator?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At $1,400 at olaretaildeals.com as of November 5, 2026, it is at the bottom of its recent range; seven stores price it new, and counter-depth French door models with dual ice makers often sell for $1,800 to $2,300.

Question 2

Will it fit flush in my kitchen?

Accepted Answer

The body is counter-depth, but plan clearance: the doors need about 56.75 inches of width when fully open, and the freezer drawer needs about 48.88 inches of depth. Measure your opening and swing space before buying.

Question 3

How much ice do the dual ice makers make?

Accepted Answer

There are two ice makers, one in the fridge and one in the freezer, so you get ice from both sections. Exact daily output is not listed here; check LG's spec sheet for pounds per day if you entertain heavily.

Question 4

What water filter does it use?

Accepted Answer

It uses the LG LT1000P single-stage filter. Replace it roughly every six months, or when the fridge indicator tells you to.

Question 5

Is it Energy Star certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is Energy Star certified and rated at 699 kWh per year, which is typical for a fridge this size.

Question 6

What is in the box?

Accepted Answer

The refrigerator, one LT1000P water filter, and the standard documentation. Ice maker and water line hookup parts are usually sold separately, so confirm with the store.
