Our take on the Lodeija 80.3" 5-in-1 Convertible Futon Sofa Bed

The Lodeija is an 80.3-inch fabric futon that converts five ways: sofa, lounger, bed and two reclined positions. It has a metal frame rated to 500 lb, track arms, and hidden storage under the seat. At 80 inches long and 36 inches deep it seats three and sleeps one or two, so measure the room before ordering.

Questions and answers

Is the Lodeija futon good for everyday sleeping?
It lies flat and holds up to 500 lb, so it works for occasional guests. For nightly sleeping, a futon mattress this thin will feel firmer than a standard bed.
How big is it when converted to a bed?
It is 80.3 inches long and 36 inches deep, so the bed footprint is roughly a twin-plus. Check doorways and stair turns before delivery.
Does it really have storage?
Yes, storage is built in under the seat. It suits bedding, pillows or small items, not large luggage.
What is the seat height?
The seat sits 27 inches high, which is taller than most sofas. Shorter users may find their feet off the floor.
Is the orange fabric easy to keep clean?
The cover is fabric, so spot-clean with a mild upholstery cleaner. Light spills show less on orange than on pale gray or cream.
When is the best time to buy?
Futons like this usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Compare the current price against its recent range before ordering.
What do buyers say about the Lodeija 80.3" 5-in-1 Convertible Futon Sofa Bed?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 5 ratings.
