Our take on the Loheer 1000W Pressurized Handheld Steam Cleaner with 12 Accessories

The Loheer is a corded handheld steam cleaner rated at 1000W, with a 350 ml tank and a 13.1 ft cord. It ships with 12 accessories and a safety lock, aimed at grout, bathroom grime, car interiors, concrete and sealed floors. It is a light-duty tool: the small tank and short steam time mean short bursts rather than whole-room cleaning. Its 3.6 out of 5 from 56 ratings puts it mid-pack; no current price was supplied, so compare it against the $40 to $70 band typical for 1000W handheld steamers before buying.

Best forSpot cleaning grout, tile and bathroom grimeCar interior and upholstery touch-upsHouseholds with kids and pets avoiding chemical spraysSmall jobs where a full-size steam mop is overkill

Cons

Questions and answers

Is the Loheer steam cleaner worth it?
For small jobs like grout lines, bathroom fixtures and car seats, yes, if the price sits near the low end of the 1000W handheld class. For floors or long sessions, a steam mop with a larger tank is a better buy.
How long does the 350 ml tank last?
Expect roughly 10 to 15 minutes of intermittent steaming. Continuous use drains it faster, and you must let the unit cool before refilling.
Can I use it on hardwood floors?
Only on sealed hardwood, and sparingly. Pressurized steam can dull finishes and warp unsealed wood, so test a hidden spot first.
What is in the box?
The cleaner plus 12 accessories, typically nylon and brass brushes, a squeegee, angled and straight nozzles, and a fabric steamer attachment. A measuring cup and funnel are usually included.
How does it compare with a steam mop?
It is more maneuverable for detail work and reaches into cars and corners a mop cannot. A mop wins on floor coverage and run time.
When is it cheapest?
Handheld steamers in this class tend to dip during spring cleaning sales and Black Friday. Check the price history before buying.
