Is the Lucid 5 Inch mattress worth it?

For a bunk, guest room or camper it is a low-cost option that fits tight spaces. For a main adult bed, spend more on a thicker mattress with better support.

How firm is the Lucid 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress?

It is generally described as medium-firm, but at 5 inches there is little foam under you, so it feels firmer than thicker memory foam mattresses.

Does it fit a standard twin bed frame?

Yes. It measures 75 inches long and 39 inches wide, the standard twin size, and is 5 inches thick, so it sits low in the frame.

Does the gel memory foam sleep cool?

The gel infusion is meant to pull heat away, but a thin foam mattress still traps some warmth. Hot sleepers may prefer a mattress with more airflow.

The best new price is $119.04 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026. With only one store listing it new, watch for seasonal sales rather than comparing stores.

Our take on the Lucid 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress, Twin

The Lucid 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress is a low-profile foam mattress in a twin size, 75 by 39 inches, with a gel-infused memory foam top layer meant to sleep cooler than plain foam. At 5 inches it is thin, so it suits bunks, trundles, guest rooms, kids' rooms and RV or camper beds more than a primary adult bed. The best new price is $119.04 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
