Is the MLILY 6 inch twin good for adults?

It can work for lighter adults and back sleepers, but 6 inches of foam gives limited cushioning for heavier sleepers. Most buyers use it for kids, bunks or guest beds.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a slatted frame, platform bed or bunk base. A solid, supportive base helps the foam last.

How long until it fully expands?

Allow up to 48 to 72 hours after unboxing for full loft. Cool rooms slow this down.

Is it fiberglass-free?

Yes. MLILY lists this mattress as fiberglass-free and CertiPUR-US certified.

Our take on the MLILY 6 Inch Twin Memory Foam

The MLILY 6 Inch Twin is a two-layer gel memory foam mattress in medium firm, aimed at kids' beds and daybeds. It is CertiPUR-US certified and fiberglass-free, and the cover is polyamide. The 6-inch profile suits bunk beds and low frames where a thick mattress would sit too high. At $99.74 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track.
