Questions and answers

Is the Fayette chair worth $303.99?
At $303.99 at Ashley as of November 3, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the six stores listing it. That is a fair price for a tufted chair with solid wood legs and a 300 lb rating.
How does it compare with a swivel accent chair?
The Fayette is fixed: no swivel, glide or recline. Choose it for looks and a stable seat; pick a swivel chair if you want to turn toward a TV or conversation area.
What are the seat dimensions?
The seat is 22 in wide and 22 in deep, with an 18 in seat height. The chair overall is 35 in wide, 30 in deep and 31.5 in tall.
Is the polyester upholstery easy to clean?
Polyester is durable but the cream color shows spills and pet hair. Spot clean promptly and consider a throw or slipcover in high-traffic rooms.
Does it come assembled?
Expect to attach the legs and possibly the back on delivery. Set aside time and a second person, since the chair weighs about 42 lb.
When is it cheapest?
Accent chairs usually dip during Black Friday and end-of-season furniture sales. Track the price across the six stores, since the spread between them can be meaningful.
