Is the Meucci Sneaky Pete worth $460?

At $460 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, you are paying mostly for The Pro shaft, which is the same low-deflection shaft Meucci puts on pricier cues. If you want that shaft in a plain butt, it is fair value; if you want inlays or a wrap, look elsewhere.

What tip and ferrule does it come with?

It ships with an Ultraskin Black medium tip, 12.5mm, on a 0.5-inch polycarbonate ferrule. That is a common setup that most cuemakers can retip without special parts.

Can I change the shaft?

Yes. The 5/16x18 joint fits many aftermarket and production shafts, so you can swap in a different shaft later. Check the pin fit on your specific shaft before buying.

How does it compare with a standard Meucci?

The Sneaky Pete uses the same The Pro shaft as higher-end Meucci cues but a simpler maple butt with no wrap and no inlays. You get the shaft performance without the decorative cost.

What weight and length is it?

The cue is listed at 19.0 oz with a 29-inch shaft. The butt length is not specified, but Meucci's standard butt is 29 inches, giving a 58-inch cue.

Prices vary by store; 5 stores list it new, and Amazon showed $460 as of November 6, 2026. Watch for holiday and league-season sales, when cue prices tend to dip.

Our take on the Meucci Sneaky Pete

The Meucci Sneaky Pete is a play cue built around Meucci's The Pro shaft: 29 inches, 12.5mm, pro taper, with an Ultraskin Black medium tip on a 0.5-inch polycarbonate ferrule. The butt is straight-grain maple with a no-wrap handle and a 5/16x18 joint, and the cue ships at 19.0 oz. It is a simple, sneaky-pete look rather than an inlaid showpiece, priced as a mid-range Meucci. The best new price is $460 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, with 5 stores carrying it new.
