- Is $968 a good price for this door?
- It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 8, 2026. Prehung fiberglass doors with decorative triple-pane glass commonly run $900 to $1,500, so this sits in the lower part of that band.
- What size rough opening does it need?
- Frame a rough opening 38.25 inches wide by 82 inches high. The door itself is 37.375 x 81.562 inches with a 4-9/16 inch jamb.
- Does it come with a lockset?
- No. It has a double bore for a handle and deadbolt, but the lockset and handleset are sold separately.
- Is the glass private?
- Yes. The water-wave texture obscures the view while still letting daylight through, and the glass is tempered and triple-pane insulated.
- Can it be used in a coastal climate?
- Yes. The fiberglass panel and composite frame are waterproof and resist rot, warping and rust, which suits humid and coastal areas.
