Is the RTX 5070 enough for QHD gaming at 240Hz?

For esports titles like Valorant or CS2, yes. For demanding AAA games at native QHD, expect to use DLSS and tuned settings to approach high frame rates.

Can I upgrade the RAM and SSD?

Yes. The Crosshair line has accessible SO-DIMM and M.2 slots, so you can add RAM and a second SSD. Check the exact slot count for this model before buying.

How does it compare with the previous Crosshair 16?

The main change is the RTX 5070 GPU and the 2026 release. The 240Hz QHD screen and i9-14900HX carry over, so the upgrade matters most for ray tracing and DLSS performance.

Is 16GB of RAM enough?

For most games today, yes, but heavy multitasking or newer titles benefit from 32GB. Upgrading is inexpensive and worth it if you keep many apps open.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, a power adapter and standard documentation. A mouse and headset are not included.

It listed at $1,579.99 at Newegg as of November 7, 2026, with only one store selling it new. Watch for holiday sales, when gaming laptops typically see their deepest discounts.
