Is $156.51 a good price for this set?

It is the only new price found as of November 3, 2026, so there is no competing new listing to compare against. Adjustable steel pairs in this weight class often sell for $150 to $250, so it sits at the low end.

How much weight can each dumbbell hold?

Each dumbbell adjusts from 5 to 20 lb in seven steps. The steel handle is rated well above that, so the 20 lb limit comes from the included plates, not the bar.

Can I add plates to go past 20 lb?

The handle is built to take extra weight, but Northdeer does not list add-on plates for the 2.0 set. Check compatibility before buying plates separately.

Does it work with the older Northdeer 1.0 set?

Yes. Northdeer states the 2.0 is compatible with Version 1.0 dumbbells in standard and mirror finishes, so plates can be shared.

What comes in the box?

The listing is for a pair of 20 lb dumbbells, two pieces total. A barbell attachment is mentioned but not confirmed as included.

The specs list no written warranty. Northdeer advertises ongoing customer service through its store, but that is not a stated warranty term.
